Garretts Boer Goats is located in Troy, South Carolina, approximately 12 miles south of Greenwood. We started raising Boer Goats in 2001 as a hobby after being in the the dairy business for a few years, and we just wanted to try something new. In 2002, we decided to start raising full bloods. We bought a few fullbloods and have steadily tried to improve the herd. In search of better goats we purchased a couple of nice bucks, one of which is picture above. He come from the Mincey goat herd, he is a Pipeline grandson "N136" from a Shaka Zula daughter. We decided to buy top quality and saw quality written all over him. We feel really lucky to have purchased some of the finest goats around and to have made friends with some really great people.
